Will the Real Malibu Marathoners Please Stand Up

We need your help.  Our Marathon Guide entry is overrun with negative comments and we need you to share your story.  We’re not perfect, as a young and sometimes scrappy race we’ve made some missteps.  But, there is a reason we’ve doubled in size every year too.  This race is a labor of love for our tiny but dedicated team (we all have second jobs) and we just want some balance.  If you could give us a quick shout out we’d greatly appreciate it!

MIM Charity Round-Up:
Meet Girls On The Run of L.A. County

When you register for the Malibu International Full and Half Marathon choosing a cause to support is one of the most important parts of the experience.

Meet Girls on the Run (GOTR) of L.A. County –the local chapter of a national nonprofit network of 150 councils teaching 70,000 girls nationwide about the positive power of running and the importance of engaging in healthy activities.  Your support will enable GOTR to continue their commitment to serving the full diversity of girls living in L.A. County regardless of their ability to pay.  For girls who lack options for afterschool activities, running makes a lasting impact in their lives long after the season ends.  Right now GOTR is recruiting fall season coaches; for more information please email noemy@gotrlosangeles.org.
