Liz Bernstein

Liz Bernstein

MIM is Liz Bernstein’s 10th marathon and November is her 10-year anniversary of running marathons. A perfect 10 if we ever saw one.

Eric O'Grey Eric O'Grey

Eric O'Grey

Eric O'Grey is running MIM to fulfill one of his life-long dreams of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

Malibu is just his latest stop on an incredible five-year journey from almost 300 pounds, high blood pressure and high cholesterol and thousands of dollars in medications to eating a plant-based diet, running marathons and the achieving the all around best-shape of his life.
Craig Brown and Joy

Families that run together stay together!

Lorraine Skupsky lives in Jerusalem and one of her daughters lives in Southern California. Mother and daughter are runners so this year they chose Malibu!

Craig Brown lives outside in the Pacific Northwest and his daughter Joy is a freshman at Pepperdine. Two years ago they ran the Portland Marathon together it was her first race and his fifth. Craig runs marathons with all three of his children, according to him, “the weeks of training are the best time of being together with your kids through the sweat and pain!” So even though Craig and Joy are now 1000 miles apart, MIM is a project that’s helping keep them connected. (Awwwe!)
